The Foothpath Quilt Pattern is a love letter to travel. I've been lucky enough to visit Europe to see France, the Netherlands, Spain and Italy so far. I noticed when looking through my photos I have taken a lot of pictures of all the unique pavers they use on their sidewalks. They guide you through the cities! I love that something so mundane is made so beautiful simply by changing the color or texture. Each individual piece is a simple square or rectangle, but when they come together with different colors and textures something beautiful is created in the overall design.
