Here we are folks! The fourth pattern in the Sewn Home Series - The Mudroom Quilt Pattern.
This quilt was designed to be my go-to, running-out-the-door-to-the-park quilt. It will stay in our Mudroom for all our stroller walks and be easily thrown into the trunk when we drive somewhere.

The overall pattern of this quilt reminds me just a little of a picnic blanket. I intentionally added the checkered blocks as a little hat tip.
If you are reading this in March 2021 then you have heard about the Texas blackouts. Once we get back to our house I will get some photos of this quilt in our actual Mudroom. I love having a mudroom in this new house! We didn't have one in our previous house and I had no idea what I was missing.
It's the perfect catch-all that is out of the way. Guests can't see it when they are in the main part of our house so it's pretty much always a mess. I am so grateful to have this space.
