Longarm quilting above is by Sarah at Stitchmode Quilts
I knew I wanted to design quilt patterns for each of the kiddos in their new fabrics once I started seeing the strike-offs for their fabrics from Moda Fabrics. I thought it would be fun to design kits for each of the collections!

I started with Henry's! This one requires the most cutting and piecing but I like the effect it has. The idea is that these kind of look like a men's tie. Henry loves accessories. He has a variety of scale throughout his prints so I knew I wanted large and small pieces. This quilt pattern will also give you lots of practice using the Four at a Time Flying Geese Method.

Oliver's was next on my list. He's our spicy one at times so I was thinking about some wild, pointy angles and I also wanted to keep the pieces pretty big to show off the trucks. Each of the three patterns has the dividing lines running throughout the middle to tie all three quilt patterns together. I've also put together a blog post on four at a time HST. This was my first time using this method as I usually use the eight-at-a-time method. Another bonus is this modern quilt pattern gives you plenty of practice with one of the Half Rectangles Triangles I show you in a previous post.

Milo's came next. He's just our little bubbly, free flowing baby. The curves just made sense. Plus he has the curliest little blonde locks on his head! His pattern is super fat quarter friendly so ordering a precut for his would be ideal!

Before you even think it - DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE CURVES! You absolutely can make this pattern. It's the same block on repeat and there is plenty of trimming room! Plus I wrote up a blog post with a few Tips for Sewing Curves.

I love the way they all look together. Each pattern is written with baby, throw and twin size instructions. You can easily double the twin size to get a king size. If you make one please share when me on Instagram so I can see! Now, onto the quilt kits!!
QUILT KITS FROM ROSIE GIRL QUILTING:
(Due to weather delays - More coming soon!)
TESTER THROW QUILTS:
Let's take a look at the quilt kits and tester quilts shall we?! These first two quilts were pieced and quilted by Kathy Miesner (aka my bestie's mom)! I love the vibrant colors she used.
These two quilts were pieced and quilted by my very own mama - Janette Steinheimer! We selected fabrics from the one and only - Rosie Girl Quilt Shop for these two throw size quilts.
I cannot wait to see what you all do with these patterns. As a reminder the "For my Boys Collection" will be shipping to your favorite quilt shop this summer so you will most likely be able to purchase it by August 2025 if you would like to make one of the cover quilts.
Happy sewing!
